Finding Elizabeth Arden Skin Care Products for Mom

My mother is one of those people who happen to have flawless skin. When people ask her about it she always claims that it’s the Elizabeth Arden skin care products that have kept her skin looking so flawless and young looking. I personally think its great genes, but she insists otherwise and who am I to argue with mom. She recently called me to ask if I could find the Elizabeth Arden skin care products online for a better price than what she’s paying at the mall, and I told her I wasn’t sure but that I could certainly look for her. She apparently had heard from a friend that they’d found a perfume gift set for a fraction of what they’d seen it at the mall, and it gave her the idea that maybe since that was a good price that the Elizabeth Arden skin care products that she used would also be a better price. She gave me a list of everything she uses, plus the prices that she’s been paying and this morning I spent some time online and not only found the products, but found them for a great price. Needless to say, I’ve placed an order for mom.

Yesterday my best friend and her husband went to visit her daughter at college. The sorority she pledged at the beginning of the school year was having a family day and they decided to go up and see Olivia and check things out at the school. She invited me to go, but I had company visiting from out of town so was unable to make it. She did stop by on her way out of town though and picked up the perfume gift set that I’d ordered for Olivia, and promised to deliver it for me. I’d seen it online about a month ago when I was looking for a birthday gift for my sister in law, and I ordered the perfume gift set on the spot. I know how it is when you’re in college and the budget is tight, plus since it was Olivia’s favorite fragrance I couldn’t imagine not ordering it for her. My first intention was to save the perfume gift set and give it to her this year for Christmas, but I knew that she’d love having it so I decided to scrap the idea and give it to her early instead.

For as long as I can remember my mother has used Elizabeth Arden skin care products. I remember taking special trips to the mall when we were growing up, specifically so mom could get some new Elizabeth Arden skin care products. She swears by them and now that I’ve gotten older, I decided that maybe it’s time that I think about using them too. Mom doesn’t have a computer, and continues to buy her makeup and skin care products at the mall in spite of my urgings otherwise. I decided if I was going to wear Elizabeth Arden skin care products, then I was going to have to be able to find them online for a better price because I knew I couldn’t afford them after mom telling me how much she paid at the mall. Two days ago I went online and did a search and came up with a website that sells the Elizabeth Arden skin care products and I was amazed at the prices. In fact, I was so amazed that I called mom to make sure she hadn’t told me the wrong prices, but she had not. When I mentioned to her what I could get them for, she paused and asked if I’d order her some too. I think I’ve made a believer out of her.

I have truly gotten into the habit of always wearing my most cherished brands of designer perfume and cologne on nearly a daily basis. There are some friends of mine who only will wear designer perfume and cologne when they are getting ready for very special events. But that is not case for me, rather it is quite the opposite. You see, I love that I can save tons of cash on the most coveted lines of designer perfume and colognes online these days. Surprising Her With a Perfume Gift Set

My daughter starts high school this year and while we were doing some back to school shopping online last weekend she kept asking me if she could please start using lip gloss and some women's perfume. We talked about it at length and I had to admit it was hard for me to realize that she was growing up and becoming a young woman. I was particularily concerned that she would start wearing too much makeup or too much women's perfume like so many young girls do today. She promised me that she would talk to me first before she took the next step in makeup. I agreed to the lip gloss and told her I would think about the women's perfume. A good friend has his birthday next Tuesday. This is not an optimal time of the week to go out and celebrate with work and waking up in the morning so we have started to plan a surprise day of events for him this Saturday. My girlfriend agreed to be the designated driver as long as I pay for her food and drink. That sounded perfect to me because we are starting at a local brewery the birthday boy has talked about wanting to check out. From there it is to a beer bar stocked with California microbrews and then to a favorite bar downtown at night. I’m ready to get this show on the road. It is keeping me going through the workweek.

Man did I ever have just a grand old time last night out with my wife and our best friends. As per usual, there we were, getting ready in the bedroom prior to them arriving to pick us up. I recall spraying on a dash of my favorite designer perfume and cologne before heading out, and looking in the mirror, knowing that I was truly dressed to impress and shine! I even recall look over the many different bottles of designer perfume and cologne that now sit in my vanity, all neatly arranged, and all gotten thanks to the wonderful deals that I have been able to easily find online on designer perfume and cologne over the past few years. The night was awesome. We headed out to a few great night clubs and then got dinner at this late night pizza joint. When a person goes out of their way to loan money and then is patient with repayment that deserves a thank you. After finding an apartment about a year ago, one of the people that I was going to live with had bad credit. Found this out after the fact. That meant instead of putting down a small deposit we had to put down two months’ rent and then some. At the time, I couldn’t afford it. My good friend who was to live there too wanted to make it happen so he asked his mom if she could spot us on the deposit. She graciously agreed. I’d spoken with her on the phone and she made it clear that she just wanted her money back by the time we moved out. So when we moved out I sent her a check. This was a few weeks ago.

Men are inherently dirtier creatures than women. It is widely accepted and laughable when a guy farts or burps but imagine if a girl was to do the same thing. As a guy, I’d rather be in this boat then having to worry about putting off a “lady like” persona. Last month my dad bought my mom a very nice perfume gift set and she was as happy as can be, and it gave me the idea of getting one for my girl. I used to shop in department stores, spending a ton of money on each bottle plus the gas I had to use to get to the store. I spent the weekend last week with my parents and I forgot a few things, so had to use moms Elizabeth Arden skin care products. I know mom has been using them for years, but it’s something that I’ve never tried, even though she’s urged me to on more than one occasion. I was happy that she offered me the Elizabeth Arden skin care products when I commented that I had forgotten mine, but I really wasn’t expecting my skin to feel any different than it does when I use my own products.

I love the smell of cologne on my husband but that’s because he only wears a little bit. If he had worn too much when we first met I’d have assumed him to be a player and ran a mile.      I was looking for some gifts online the other day, and I think that I have decided to go with a perfume and cologne gift basket. It kind of eliminates having to get two gifts. Men and cologne share something very special and here is why: from my own experience there are more then a few times when I have to be around the opposite sex and know that without a shower I’m going to smell like a dumpster. It could be sweat from a day working on the motorcycle, just after a jog or a long 8 hours in the office but at some point normally later in the evening the opportunity to go out and do something presents itself and I have to clean up. A quick shower, fresh clothes and a spray of cologne gets me into that presentable zone where women might actually find me attractive. At least that is the hope.

With the odds stacked against us to impress, taking those small steps like spraying cologne all add up. Men and cologne share the bond of putting our best foot forward.
