Yesterday my best friend and her husband went to visit her daughter at college. The sorority she pledged at the beginning of the school year was having a family day and they decided to go up and see Olivia and check things out at the school. She invited me to go, but I had company visiting from out of town so was unable to make it. She did stop by on her way out of town though and picked up the perfume gift set that I’d ordered for Olivia, and promised to deliver it for me. I’d seen it online about a month ago when I was looking for a birthday gift for my sister in law, and I ordered the perfume gift set on the spot. I know how it is when you’re in college and the budget is tight, plus since it was Olivia’s favorite fragrance I couldn’t imagine not ordering it for her. My first intention was to save the perfume gift set and give it to her this year for Christmas, but I knew that she’d love having it so I decided to scrap the idea and give it to her early instead.
